Shawn

Shawn grew up in St. Lucia and worked in agriculture before he ever touched an air conditioner. Where he grew up, air conditioning wasn't a big part of everyday life. He came to it as a trade, learned it from the ground up, and has about 20 years of HVAC experience in South Florida, including a lot of installation work.

That experience is the other half of Service Shield. Michael's background is service and diagnostics; Shawn's is the installation itself: how the line set is run and insulated, how the drain is pitched and trapped, how the electrical is terminated, how the equipment sits on its pad or stand, and how the job looks when it's finished. Those details decide how long a new system lasts, and they are the ones a homeowner rarely sees.
